Platform overview
Lunar Launch Labs (L3) is a staffing platform: companies book vetted technology crew — front-end, back-end, full-stack, DevOps, design, and product — by the week, schedule days on demand, and pay for exactly the days they use.
How booking works
Section titled “How booking works”- File a request — a role, a quantity, a booking period, and an optional needed-by date.
- The crew desk matches it. Candidates are anonymous while you browse (“Verified specialist” profiles with title, seniority, location, and a day rate); the crew desk sends back a proposal with named, verified candidates — one all-in day rate each.
- Accept per line. Each acceptance is a binding booking: the candidate joins your crew with a Monday start, a weekly cadence, and a schedule you control.
- Billing is weekly and in advance — each Friday for the coming Monday–Friday of scheduled days, due before the week begins, paid by ACH through Mercury. Invoiced days are locked; future days stay flexible.
The Client guide (in the sidebar of these docs) documents every page of that journey in detail.
Client workspaces are on one of two pricing plans, chosen at registration:
- Dedicated — committed weekly crew, best rates.
- Flex — book on demand, flexible rates.
Your plan determines the day rate you see for every candidate, and a booked placement’s rate is snapshotted — it never reprices.
Built-in confidentiality
Section titled “Built-in confidentiality”The platform runs a deliberate confidentiality architecture, disclosed plainly in its public Terms of Service and Privacy Policy:
- Candidates are anonymous until proposal — identities are revealed when you’re sent a match to approve, and stay visible through the placement.
- Identities and pricing are compartmentalized by role. Each participant sees exactly what their seat needs and nothing more; every signed-in role’s own guide describes precisely what their account can see and do.
- The platform is the exclusive channel for placement-related dealings, and its records — requests, acceptances, schedules, invoiced days, messages — are the authoritative system of record behind every engagement.
Scheduling fundamentals
Section titled “Scheduling fundamentals”- Crew weeks run Monday–Friday; weekends are never scheduled.
- Placements start on Mondays (the Monday of your needed-by week, or the next Monday).
- A booking period (1–4 weeks) sets the initial schedule; after booking you add or drop future, uninvoiced days freely.
- Once invoiced (each Friday), days are locked — immutable and payable.
- Pauses hold a seat at a retainer percentage of the day rate; time-off conflicts are flagged for resolution.
